Donation Platforms Expansion
Send traffic directly to donation platforms.
At AboveX Digital, we’re committed to keeping nonprofits informed about the latest changes that affect their online marketing and fundraising efforts. As part of the Google Ad Grants Certified Professional community, we recently received an important update that we’re excited to share with you.
What It Is & Why It Matters
The list of donation platforms approved for use with Google Ad Grants has been expanded. In the past, most organizations sent all their ad traffic straight to their own website, typically to a landing page with an embedded donation form. That approach worked, but it also meant that your results depended heavily on how fast, user-friendly, and well-designed your site was. Technically, nonprofits could send traffic to certain third-party donation pages, but very few knew this was even an option.
Now, with more platforms officially supported, it’s easier than ever to send donors to a page that loads quickly, keeps distractions to a minimum, and is fully focused on converting visitors into supporters. This can make a true difference for nonprofits whose websites are outdated, slow, or cluttered, as it removes friction and keeps the donor experience simple and seamless.
This update could be your opportunity to finally focus on storytelling and campaign strategy, knowing that the donation process is optimized.
